Perfect

The best aplication to learn Chinese

Best app I ve seen

I tried a few apps to learn Chinese characters but TrainChinese is the best I have found. I can organize and practice my characters in every way I like and the exercises cover every field (writing, listening, reading, multiple choices ...). The added dictionary is also very complete and the interface is very practical. My only remark would be the quality of the audio recordings but otherwise it s great and has really helped me.

Problem

I have a problem ! I cant open the appli. When I try to open it, it desappears !

Very good, but expensive

You can learn only pinyin or also the characters. It remembers which words you know well in brings up accordingly. Very goof, but unfortunately cost some money

Quick Feedback

I had a problem with my account. The problem was solved within 1 hour. 5 stars for that.

The best app for learning Chinese

As Chinese is not like any other language to learn - especially its characters part - you need a right tool and TC is the right one. The idea of learning Chinese characters through cards is not new but this implementation is unique. Fast progress guaranteed ! It does cost some money but you will get enough value for it.

Superb

Yes, it is expensive, but worth every penny in my opinion. Best app for learning chinese in the Appstore. If youre serious about learning/studying chinese, this is the app for you. Perfect for memorizing characters/vocabulary. Especially on the go!

Best program in store

Absolutely incredible program! love it! But why is it that the measure words seem to disappear as soon as I add the card to one of my lists? Can I get them back? Please help!

Simply excellent

This app helps you learning Chinese in a quite sophisticated way. I found it by coincidence and dont wanna miss it any more. Please also provide an app for windows phone. That would be great.

Its just as it said!!!

:) it deserves 5 stars, even better, its free!!!

Im addicted

Thanks to trainchinese! I finaly stoped playing with my PS3! This is the best way to learn and memorized Chinese vocabulary. The feedback and help from those guys are fast in case you have any questions. It worth paying for it if youre a serious learner. I havent found nothing better that suits me.

Addictive!

Awesome app, really makes efficient use of your time and well worth paying extra for more material!

Excellent

Best apps to learn Chinese on the iPad!

Best app

This is the best app to learn Chinese that I have found so far. It is absolutely worth the money. Perfect for non-native speakers as well as chinese diasphoras who cant read or write in chinese. I highly recommend it.

Best mandarin flashcard app

Great for learning Chinese, currently using it in conjunction with textbook. Easy to get new vocabulary, train flashcards in multiple ways, and quick response from developers when I have any questions or issues

Stick with to the previous version

I’m not a fan of this update. You’re training is constantly halted by a slide telling you you still have cards to learn and you now have to subdivide all you cards into list that can only carry 100 cards. Why can’t I keep all my cards in one continuous list like in the previous version?

Fantastic

After living in China for years and not taking any real lessons, this has helped me fill in the gaps and improve my grammar. It especially helped me catch my reading and writing up with my speaking and listening. Well done devs!

Student

Very thorough training mechanisms in flashcard mode. Dictionary completeness to be determined (only started using this app )

A trap!

This app is superficially attractive, and was recommended to me by a friend in my Chinese class. Unfortunately it is not what it appears. To use it at all seriously to learn Chinese is going to be (what I consider) obscenely expensive. You can enter a couple of limited lists at a limited rate on the free model, but I used up my weekly limit in about 10 minutes. After that one has to start paying to do more. They offer "subscriptions". The "beginner" one they propose to you is $15.99 (lets call that $16) for just 3 months. That would be about $64 a year! Dont want to go the subscription route? Then there is the option of paying over $50 for a "lifetime" (which means, if you read the small print, at least 3 yrs) to purchase 10 lists. Ill do what I can to avoid putting my time into building my study materials on an app that will not simply sell me full functionality at a realistic price.

Invaluable learning tool

I love everything about this app. As a Cantonese speaker I have tried over the years to learn Mandarin. This app is by far the best out there. The flash cards reinforce pronunciation. the numbers of entries in the dictionary makes sure I always find what Im looking for. Highly recommended!!!!
